Health First

At Villa Agnanti we take in high consideration the safety of our guests and ours, according the prevention and handle for COVID-19. We attend the online education that was provided by the Greek Ministry of Tourism and we got the essential sign of Health First. We also develop an action plan according to the current instructions of (ΕΟΔΥ – National Organization for Public Health) in order to prevent the occurrence and provide effective handling with aim to contain the spread of suspicious cases.

Maintaining the basic protocols to avoid transmitting the virus by thorough and regular hand washing, avoiding handshakes, keeping distances, avoiding contact of hands on the eyes, nose and mouth and covering coughs and sneezes appropriately.

We keep record of all people staying at the hotel – name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, contact details (address, telephone, e-mail), so that it is possible to communicate with these people in the case of any COVID-19 incident. Of course, this record is abided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We also keep cleaning and disinfection program following the ΕΟΔΥ instructions. Reinforcement of sanitary services in all areas and especially in “high risk” surfaces like knobs. During the cleaning and disinfection, we wear adequate staff equipment for personal protection (gloves, masks, robe, closed shoes). During the stay the cleaning and the change of clothing and towels is made every 3-4 days, always with an appointment arranged with customer, to avoid unnecessary contact. As for the protocol of departures, we choose in priority regular cleaning and waiting 24 hours before the room is available to a new customer. If is mandatory to have an arrival at the same day meticulous cleaning – disinfection with the liquid DALCO 100 with ΕΟΦ approval, of the entire villa it is made and we apply the expanding check out -check in (11:00a.m και 15:00a.m) with good fool ventilation in order to be assured that the villa is completely safe. Additionally, all decorative pillows and common multi-purpose items have been removed. We have installed disposable covers on the TVs and air conditioner controls. Fabric surfaces (furniture upholstery) are cleaned with a steam appliance (temperature> 70^oC). We recommend you to open all doors and windows for natural ventilation of the space daily. You will find in every bedroom and at the living room of the villa individual antiseptic liquids with alcohol more than 70%, in order to disinfect your hands often after washing them.

Strict observance of the rules of hygiene in the sorting of dirty linen using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Used fabrics, bedding and towels must be placed in a special, closed, marked bag in order to be transported to the external partner, who is checked that follows all the required measures and linen are delivered to the accommodation in the appropriate manner. Clean clothing, are stored in clean shield boxes until they are transferred in bedrooms at the time of change.

Villa complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Health “Protection of Public Health by the corona SARS-COV-2 in the water supply and sewerage systems” and provides free mineral water at the guests.

As for the private pool that we have at the villa we follow the above:

Chlorination: proper operation and maintenance of chlorination systems in accordance with current legislation (see Ministerial Decision Γ1/443/1973 as amended by Γ4/1150/76 and ΔΥΓ2/80825/05 and circular on “Prevention of Legionnaires’ disease”). It is recommended, according to the WHO guidelines (Guidelines for safe recreational water environments – Volume 2 – Swimming pools and similar environments), that the residual chlorine value in tank water be 1-3 mg / L for swimming pools. We make manual control of chlorine levels and keep a record file of this.

PH adjustment: pH values ​​in the water of recreational water installations should be maintained within the limits provided by current legislation (see Ministerial Decision Γ1/443/1973 as amended by Γ4/1150/76 and ΔΥΓ2/80825/05). Regular measurement and maintenance of pH recording files.

Cleaning and disinfection: compliance with the rules of cleaning water for recreational facilities, regular cleaning and disinfection according to ΕΟΔΥ instructions “Proposed procedures for cleaning and disinfection of hosting areas during the COVID-19 pandemic”. The maximum total number of people entering the swimming pool at any given time will not be greater than one swimmer per 2.5 m2 of water surface, fact that in our private pool is always covered because only our guests can use the swimming pool (maximum 6 people in a pool of 41m²).  The layout of the sunbeds is not close despite of the fact that they are used only from the current guests. Cushions, tables and umbrellas are disinfected after every change of guests and we offer pool towels that cover the entire surface of the sunbed.

The provisions of the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Health “Taking measures to ensure public health from viral and other infections during the use of air conditioning units”, with the emphasis on non-recirculation of air and natural ventilation in rooms and other operating systems (shutting down air conditioning when the doors are open with use of an automatic system).
